Sunday, July 19, 2009 Sunday is here again! We had a sharing session during sunday school, and i had the urge to stand up to share, but what i wanted to share was already shared by my fellow friends. Alright! i think i should share it with you guys here what i've learned from 1 samuel and 2samuel on David.Well i believe that God gave me a good quiet time yesterday night whereby i am home alone,imagine nobody was home,the adults went Malaysia,Sister not in town,Cousins went clubbing and Brother was not home either.So,house was really really really empty and quiet As i was preparing this yesterday night,i prayed before i started reading 1 Samuel & 2 Samuel all over again to refresh my knowledge on it. And i know that God was with me,and i do not have anything to fear about.
The question that i chose was: Share about something that you find intesting,helpful,encouraging or particulary applicable to your life.How did you apply it in your life.The three things that i've learned from the passage is that:We must,1)Trust in the lord (have faith). And coincidently,Matilda also share a verse which i wrote down yesterday while preparing that is (Proverb 3:5). Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on our own understanding in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your path straight.2)Always seek God. As what David did in the book of Samuel,he inquired the Lord at many times.(Mattew6:33) 3)Obeying God if you love Him. (John 14:21) I can say that David love God,because he obeyed Him. David could easily killed Saul but He chose not to and he knows that Saul was the God's anointed. I really salute David but the person behind David was definitely God.And i thank God for all those who shared.And is time for me to ask God(Seek him) for direction like what David did,as you all know i'm graduating very soon and time flies,now July is ending,August is just round the corner and Kor's wedding is in October,after that would be my Overseas programme which is in Nov till next year. I guess i'm pretty much packed with many major decisions in my life right now, i need to decide where i should head towards after graduating and i'll definitely pray,pray and pray!Have a blessed week! :) 2:46 PM Tuesday, July 14, 2009 Till now,i'm still feeling very lousy and low. I think the changed in environment really affects me,i want to be back.And as for school work is concern,things are not well done and not up to my standard,very disappointed :( And sadly, i'm left with not much time. Seek Ye first the kingdom of god. 11:02 PM Saturday, July 04, 2009 Since i moved out from Geylang to Kembagan,life has changed.I've been out of the house running a lot and bringing the dog out for a walk,maybe is because the house is big and empty and quiet when it comes to the morning,usually nobody is home at that time. And seriously i dont know when i'm moving back. Is always better to be back at your own home right? (:But one thing i love the most about staying here is that is very near church,Haha! Is like just 5mins walk,like a bonus from God. So i got no reason to be late or not appearing at meetings. And for running wise, God gave me running partners. And i got dragged out by a couple of friends to run at super late timing.Haha! good training for army marathone. (=-- 1 corinthians 9:24-27 24Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
25Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. 27No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. 10:54 PM Friday, July 03, 2009 Is 2am,and i can't sleep.I just had a meatyyy Brazilian dinner at Sixth Ave. Ok,let me tell you what i ate. First i had some salad(salad bar) followed by chicken,lamb,BEEF BEEF and MORE BEEF,sausage,pork rib,ham and i had rasberry+lemon sobert for dessert and went for a drink at bigsplah I had a cup of Coffee+ Jelly from STARBUCKS. FULL!!& CHELLE ATE 2 tiny pieces of PIG HEART!!!!! it tasted like some fried pork intestine :( oh man! 2:03 AM Sunday, July 19, 2009 Sunday is here again!
